Steel grade 12X17 is a chromium steel of ferritic class corrosion-resistant, heat-resistant up to 850 °C. Steel 12X17 is used for the manufacture of the following parts: fasteners, rollers, bushings and other parts of devices and vessels operating in dilute solutions of acetic acid, citric acid, in solutions of salts with oxidizing properties.
